Roshini Labs ("Roshini Labs," "we," "our," or "us") operates the GPS Pilot mobile application ("App" or "Service"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Pilot collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you install or use the App.

GPS Pilot is designed as a GPS simulation, route planning, development, testing, debugging, and educational utility that allows users to simulate GPS locations using Android's official Mock Location framework.

By downloading, installing, or using GPS Pilot, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

GPS Pilot is designed to operate primarily on your device.

We do not require you to create an account.

We do not require login credentials.

We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us.

Most information processed by the App remains stored locally on your device.

  • ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

  • ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

These permissions are essential for the App's core functionality.

The App uses your device's location to:

  • Display your current position on the map.

  • Allow you to select locations for GPS simulation.

  • Simulate GPS coordinates using Android's Mock Location framework.

  • Create and simulate custom routes.

  • Calculate distances and navigation paths.

  • Improve the accuracy of map interactions.

Your real location is processed only on your device.

Your simulated locations and route history remain stored locally unless you choose to export them.

We do not upload, transmit, sell, rent, or share your location information with our servers.

3. Mock Location Functionality

GPS Pilot uses Android's official Mock Location feature.

To use GPS simulation, you must manually:

  • Enable Android Developer Options.

  • Enable Mock Location.

  • Select GPS Pilot as your Mock Location application.

These settings are fully controlled by the Android operating system.

GPS Pilot:

  • Does not root your device.

  • Does not bypass Android security.

  • Does not modify system software.

  • Does not access restricted system functions.

4. Local Storage

The App may save information locally on your device, including:

  • Favorite locations

  • Saved routes

  • Route history

  • App settings

  • Map preferences

  • Backup files

  • Exported data

These files remain on your device.

We do not have access to these files.

5. Advertising

GPS Pilot is supported by advertisements provided through Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device to display and improve advertisements. This information may include:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID)

  • IP address

  • Device model

  • Device manufacturer

  • Android version

  • App interactions

  • Approximate location (derived from IP address or device settings)

Most information created by GPS Pilot remains stored locally on your device.

If you uninstall the App, app data stored within the application may be removed by Android. Exported backup files stored outside the App may remain until you delete them manually.

GPS Pilot stores most user data locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or cloud storage for your app data. While we take reasonable steps to protect the App, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We recommend keeping your device protected with a PIN, password, or biometric authentication.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your country or region, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including:

  • Access to your personal information.

  • Correction of inaccurate information.

  • Deletion of personal information.

  • Restriction of processing.

Since GPS Pilot generally stores information locally on your device rather than on our servers, many of these rights can be exercised by deleting your local app data or uninstalling the App.
